Last year’s European Radon Week was cancelled due to the pandemic, therefore there is great anticipation for the 2021 event. The conference is being held in Fribourg, Switzerland and will take place between 12 and 15 October. The event brings together researchers, experts and industry representatives from across Europe and the rest of the world.
The organiser is the European Radon Association (ERA) and Radonova will be represented at the conference by José Luis Gutierrez Villanueva, Thomas Chauvin and Patrik Nöteberg.
This year’s programme focuses on international cooperation around radon issues and Radon Outcomes On Mitigation Solutions (ROOM).
“For those of us who work with radon, this year’s conference will be one of the most important that has been held. Partly because we are again able to discuss the latest research results and experiences with radon in a face-to-face environment. The event provides a unique opportunity to be able to look ahead together, collaborate and understand which areas we need to prioritise, both nationally and internationally”, said Radonova’s José-Luis Gutiérrez Villanueva, Secretary of the ERA.
